Account Director - Key Strategic Customers

Arqiva is a communications infrastructure and media services company spearheading the provision of network solutions and services in the digital world. We provide much of the infrastructure behind television, radio, satellite and wireless communications, both in the UK and globally. Customers include world-renowned major broadcasters and telco providers, in addition to the UK's five mobile network operators.

As Account Director reporting to the Regional Sales Director, your key role will be to take hands-on responsibility for a major group of customers, providing strategic leadership and direction within the relationship. Additionally, you'll also manage service delivery to meet customer expectation, client satisfaction and P&L performance. That will involve creating strongly aligned commercial relationships with customers' C-level management to ensure Arqiva becomes an integrated component of their strategic business planning and thinking. Other key element of the role will be:

*accountability for the strategic relationship management of both dedicated and virtual team members
*integrating multiple service offerings into a cohesive programme
*representing the customer's interests and requirements within Arqiva to project teams, technical and service delivery specialists.

Educated to degree level in a relevant engineering or commercial discipline, with a background in the Broadcast industry, you'll have a proven track record at senior level in business/account management and/or programme management, underpinned by strong, all-round knowledge of industry and technology trends. You'll clearly combine the ability to manage and grow P&L over the long term with the skills to co-ordinate resource across the company on a matrix management/project basis to ensure that customer deliverables are achieved on time and to budget. Your background will also include strong evidence of:

*customer management, with the interpersonal and business skills essential to become a trusted partner
*proven ability to establish, develop and nurture C-Level relationships
*the ablity to exercise strong leadership through mentoring and development
*excellent sales, business management and strategic account planning skills, with a working understanding of accounting/finance.
